FAQs

How long is an appointment?

Most appointments last approximately 50 minutes, but can range from 30-55 minutes. Longer sessions can be scheduled for an additional fee.

Do you take insurance?

I do not accept insurance. Upon request, I can provide a “superbill” with diagnostic and billing codes that you can submit to insurance, which might result in some reimbursement.

How much does it cost?

Each session, either an initial assessment or a therapy session, costs $350. Most major credit cards are accepted. FSA/HAS cards can be used as well. Payment is due at the time of service. I offer reduced rates, on a sliding scale basis for a limited number of clients.

What is the cancellation policy?

Please let me know as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your session. This time is being reserved exclusively for you. If you cancel in less than 2 business days or do not show for your appointment, you will be responsible for the full session fee.

How long do most people stay in therapy?

Some clients benefit from just a few sessions, while some people prefer to have an ongoing relationship and support. Most people who are looking for coping skills to address stress and mood concerns commonly achieve their goals in approximately 10 to 16 sessions.
